  As I walked into the shoppe the first thing that struck me was the spectacular smell, followed by the drab interior. As I came to the counter to order, the interior was pushed to the back of my mind, as Tracy and the rest of the crew's hospitality, and phenomenal customer service blew me away. Despite the obvious rush of the kitchen, Tracy had a smile and patience the whole time guiding me through the menu. The tenders and onion rings I ordered where freshly fried for my order, and rather delicious might I add. I will be sure to come back for more!

  Have to give this place a 2. Eaten there twice. Fried okra is good and enough for 2 people. But kitchen is super super SLOW. Not unusual to wait a half hour. Shrimp is good but frozen & pre-breaded. Chicken is just 110% too salty. Won't eat there again.

  Not a big fan of crispy chicken to start with. These guys like to point you to their local awards but the bottom line is their food is nothing special at all. You'd do better and save money at H.E.B. or Walmart.

  This place is pretty bad. Where to start. Walked in the restroom, it was disgusting. I don’t know what was worse the dead roach or all the live flies. While ordering I could hear the employees complaining about having customers. The soda was flat and tasted weird. To their credit the chicken tenders were good, but the rest of the food was terrible, I couldn’t even eat it. I love coming to Port A but I won’t ever come back to this place.

  For a take out or order n' go type establishment, the food is actual pretty good for this type of food. Nothing special to write home about but edible. My wife and I enjoyed it. We stopped there for take-out to enjoy as we sat out and enjoy the waves at Malaquite Beach. We order about $30 worth of food to share between just my wife and I. The processing of the order took about 25 minutes which was not too bad since we were not in a rush. The reason for such low rating is because of the staff at this restaurant. When ordering the young lady that took our order was patient and pleasant. We even joked about the cookies they had on displayed since I prefer hard crunchy cookies and her preference is soft and chewy. Under, receipt of what we ordered I did not recognized our order number since it was given to know and also I am not a frequent visitor of this establishment since we are from the Dallas, TX area. I asked another young lady that announced the order number about the contents of the order to confirm it was our order. Once confirmed, I inquired if the utensil were included in the package. This second young indicated it was. I check and it did include condiments but no utensils. I mentioned this to the original young lady and she experience a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde transformation and appeared to snap because I requested utensils which are different than condiments. We could careless about the condiments we needed napkins and utensils since we were picnicing at the beach. She appeared to be upset with the second young lady and complained vocally about the ineptness of this young aloud but displayed her anger and displeasure towards my simple request for utensils. She appeared to either be the manager, assistant manager, or someone in charge. In any case she should know better and appears to need anger management counseling. Again the food was not bad and we enjoyed it at the beach. Will dine at this establishment again, no way Jose. Will we recommend this establishment to others, absolutely not due to the behavior of this manager, assistant manager, or person in charge. Thus, our low rating.
